Set up in 2019 as a forward thinking practice in the residential sector, MiL focuses particularly on renovations and extensions to existing family homes in London, as well as new build projects and renovations in Northern Ireland.

It is widely recognised that London has a severe housing shortage, and the increasing trend amongst families is to modify their existing home rather than consider selling up and moving on. ‘Don’t Move, Improve’ as championed by independent forum ‘New London Architecture,’ is an idea that MiL subscribes to.

MiL believes in a unique selling point which is their dedication to helping clients understand and develop their own brief, something which can otherwise be taken for granted. With years of experience in the residential sector, it is appreciated that no one client is the same and therefore MiL treat every project with the bespoke and individual approach it requires. Endeavouring to offer advice on how to develop your brief before commencing any design work, MiL aim to ensure you get what you need, and not just what you think you would like.

In addition to traditional two dimensional planning drawings which can be difficult to understand, MiL also produce three dimensional images and interactive models which help clients to fully appreciate and understand their projects. As a default, our fee proposals up to planning stage do not normally include for an interactive 3D model, however it is possible to request this at any time throughout the process for an nominal fee which MiL will be happy to discuss with you.
